Services Performed
  • Perform multi-point inspection. Set tire pressures. Top off fluids as needed. Grease steering and suspension parts if available.
  • Remove and re-install four wheels. Remove calipers and pads to inspect brake pad condition, rotor measurement and run out and caliper operation. Inspect entire system for leaks. Lining remaining is: Left Front ( 9 /32) Left Rear ( 2 /32) Right Front ( 9 /32) Right Rear ( 2 /32) Found brake light issue was caused by rear brakes due to low brake pad lining, rear brake pads were frozen in caliper brackets prior to servicing and rear rotors were very rusty, we attempted to machine rear rotors but rust could not be cut out properly recommended replacing rear brake rotors. Customer approved. Caliper temperatures after brake inspection were left front- 195 degrees right front – 177 degrees left rear- 103 degrees and right rear 135 degrees. Informed customer that rear parking brake shoes are currently cracked prior to servicing, we did sand them today when replacing rear rotors but the parking brake shoes should be replaced due to cracks.
  • Reset tire pressures
  • Left Rear tpms sensor fault, no sensor was installed on wheel prior to servicing.
  • Left front strut bellow boot torn prior to servicing.
  • Checked engine air filter, clean at this time
  • Clean and lubricate front brakes pads and all sliding areas.
  • Remove ( Left Rear ) wheel from vehicle, dismount tire from rim, install new TPMS sensor, clean bead and apply rubber sealant, re mount tire and check for leaks, computer spin balance, program new sensor to car, re-install wheel on vehicle.
  • Install new REAR brake pads and rotors, clean all surfaces, grease all pins and slides. Test drive vehicle to ensure proper installation and braking.
  • Informed customer removing backing plate makes exposed rotor more susceptible to rust. If rotor rust or short brake life occurs consider replacing backing plate.
